International Congress – Mathematics Learning Difficulties in the Context of Social Justice

Dear scientist,

We are pleased to invite you to the International Mathematics Learning Difficulties Congress (IC-MLD 2023), which we will organize for the first time this year. Our congress will be held online on 13-15 October 2022. You can follow the current developments on our www.icmld.com page.

IC-MLD aims to bring together experts working on mathematics learning difficulties from all over the world and contribute to sharing their current studies and experiences. For this purpose, the main theme of the congress was determined as “Mathematics Learning Difficulties in the Context of Social Justice”. The scope determined within the framework of this main theme is presented below.

The Role of Learning Mathematics in the Construction of Social Justice

Mathematics as a Human Right

Mathematics Learning Difficulties with its Psychological Dimensions

Mathematics Learning Difficulties and Neuroscience Research

Mathematics Learning Difficulties and Inclusive Education

Mathematics Learning Difficulties and Parenting

Mathematics Learning Difficulties and Teacher Competencies

Mathematics Learning Difficulties and Culture

Effects of Mathematics Learning Difficulties on Daily Life

The studies presented at the congress can be published in the electronic proceedings book, as a chapter in the book to be published by VİZETEK publishing, or as an article in the Journal of Dyscalculia Academy (JODYAC) after the referee evaluation.
